TRANSVASCULAR NEUROSURGERY
A new way to treat subdural hematomas without surgery.
“We envision a world where complex neurosurgical diseases can be treated through a pinhole.”
- Luis Savastano, Founder
Endovascular Horizons is advancing a minimally invasive approach to treat subdural hematomas—navigating the body’s natural blood vessels to access and drain the bleed and embolize the small arteries responsible, addressing the root cause.

The EMBODRAIN™ System: How It Works
Embodrain™ is the first fully endovascular solution for chronic subdural hematoma.
It unifies two critical treatments into one seamless, minimally invasive procedure: middle meningeal artery embolization to stop the bleed and prevent recurrence, and transvascular drainage to immediately decompress the brain.
The result: rapid symptom relief, dramatically lower recurrence risk, and a faster, safer, more efficient way for physicians to treat one of neurosurgery’s most common and growing conditions.

1. Target the Hematoma at Its Source
Using standard endovascular access, physicians navigate into the middle meningeal artery and cut off the blood supply to the subdural hematoma membranes, preventing recurrence.

2. Create a Controlled Micro-Channel for Access
Using specialized tools, a precise micro-channel is created from the artery into the hematoma cavity, replacing skull drilling and providing a safe route for drainage.

3. Drain Safely Through the Vascular Pathway
Blood is gently evacuated through the vascular pathway. The brain decompresses, midline shift reduces, and symptoms improve all without open surgery.

Why This Matters
Improving neurosurgical care
Safe, Secure and Minimally Invasive
Embodrain eliminates the need to drill into the skull. By working through natural vascular pathways, the procedure minimizes surgical trauma and infection risk.
Lower Recurrence, Higher Confidence
Rapid decompression, durable outcomes: EMBODRAIN™ rapidly relieves pressure by draining the subdural hematoma and prevents recurrence by embolizing the dural arteries responsible for continued bleeding.
Streamlined Care Solutions
Doctors can now perform embolization and drainage in one session. This reduces anesthesia exposure, simplifies workflow, and recovery.
Safer treatment, faster recovery
Avoid Lengthy Open Brain Surgery
Instead of invasive drilling, the hematoma is treated through blood vessels. Patients face less trauma, less scarring, and a safer experience overall.
Faster Recovery, Easier Process & Less Pain
Shorter hospital stays and quicker returns to daily life. Families see loved ones recover with less time in ICU and fewer complications.
Reduced Chance of Recurrence
The treatment not only relieves pressure but helps prevent the hematoma from coming back. Patients and their families gain peace of mind knowing the solution is more durable.
Grounded in Research, Built on Proof
A new way to treat subdural hematomas without surgery.
Every breakthrough starts with evidence. Endovascular Horizons is advancing the science of chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH) treatment through a foundation of rigorous research and clinical validation.
Our technology represents the first fully endovascular system that unites embolization and drainage in one procedure.

“This isn’t just an incremental improvement—it marks the beginning of transvascular neurosurgery, a new approach that opens the door to treating non-vascular brain conditions without open surgery.”

Validated in Preclinical Models
Preclinical Studies confirmed the safety and feasibility of creating controlled transvascular access to drain hematomas without drilling into the skull.
Promising Early Clinical Outcomes
Early Clinical Results from the EMBODRAIN study show encouraging outcomes: immediate brain decompression, volumetric hematoma reduction, and fewer recurrences compared to surgery alone.
Expanding Evidence Through Ongoing Trials
Ongoing Trials are expanding this data set, building the foundation for regulatory milestones and adoption worldwide.
